How long does a built-to-order flute take?

Most built-to-order flutes ship 2–4 weeks after your order, depending on the current order queue. In-stock flutes ship the same week.

What if my chosen accent wood isn’t available?

Wood availability varies by supplier. If your first choice isn’t in stock, you’ll be offered the closest replacement in look, feel, and tone before your flute is built.

What tuning options are available?

Every flute is concert-tuned to either 440Hz (standard concert pitch) or 432Hz on request, built around the Minor Pentatonic scale.

Can I add a carving or stone inlay to an in-stock flute?

Yes — see the "Customize This Flute" section on any eligible product page. Carvings are added as a separately-carved piece glued onto the finished barrel; inlays are set directly into the cured, finished surface. Every embellishment starts as a conversation about design and price, not an instant add-on.

How do I care for my flute?

Keep your flute away from extreme humidity swings and direct heat. The sound bore is intentionally left unsealed to preserve resonance — avoid submerging it in water, and wipe the exterior with a dry cloth after playing.
