Handcrafted Flutes – Unique and Made to Order

The flutes listed here include both available pieces and previous custom builds. Some flutes, or at times even all, may already be sold-out, but we keep them visible so you can explore different styles, woods, and finishes. If a particular flute speaks to you, feel free to get in touch — a similar one can often be made to order. While the wood grain, carvings and inlays will naturally vary, the tuning will always be precise, concert-tuned to your choice of 440Hz or 432Hz.

*Note on the Flute Stand in the images – it is not included with the flute, but you are welcome to request one built for you if needed. 

What does it mean when the flute is built to order:

When the flute is on Built to Order it simply means just that – I would have to build it for you. You can place your order as you would with the regular purchase, the only difference is that it would take me from 2-3 or 3-4 weeks to finish it (often sooner) and mail it to you, depending on the load of present orders. If you don’t mind waiting I would love to recreate the flute for you. If you would rather have a completely custom flute you are welcome to fill out an Order a Custom Flute form.

I will do my best to recreate the flute, depending on wood availability from my supplier. If the wood of your choice is not available, I will let you know and suggest closest replacement in look and feel, to complement the overall look, sound characteristics and color palette of the flute.
